Our practice is devoted to creating dentures that fit well, look attractive and allow you to maintain a
healthy mouth. In order to do so at Barrie Denture Clinic we have assembled a team of dental
professionals, offering you the highest quality of service and personalized care. Our denturists each
have over 20 years experience and our dental technician’s each have over 15 years experience.

Andy & Ted grew up in Barrie and currently reside in Barrie. They graduated from Barrie Central Collegiate and attended the Denturism program at George Brown College, Ted graduated in 1997 and Andy graduated in 1998.

Both brothers married hygienists and both have 3 children. When not at the clinics working they can usually be found at the hockey rinks, where all 6 Protopapas kids excel in hockey.

Andy

Andy was elected by his peers to sit on the College of Denturists Board, as well as serving as chair of the exam committee. Andy has lectured for Ivoclar dental company, and has attended conferences around the world. He continues to upgrade his skills, and has obtained his BPS Masters (The Biofunctional Prosthetic System).

Ted

Ted sits on the Denturists Group of Ontario (DGO) association board and has also participated as an examiner for the licensing exam. Ted has attended conferences around the world. He continues to upgrade his skills, and has obtained his BPS Masters (The Biofunctional Prosthetic System).

Glen

Glen has over 21 years of dental technician experience, specializing in partial denture design and fabrication. When he’s not at work Glen is hanging out with his 3 kids or tinkering on his cars. Glen is an avid golfer who spends a great deal of time perfecting his swing.

JENN

Jenn has been the treatment coordinator for over 10 years, she will be the person to assess your needs and arrange your treatment accordingly. Outside of the office she’s always on an adventure with her husband and furkids; camping, hiking or kayaking.

At Barrie Denture Clinic we also know that dentures don't last a lifetime. We recommend yearly check-ups in order to maintain a healthy mouth. We believe that it is best to be fitted for a new pair of dentures every five to seven years to ensure optimum comfort & fit.

As well as full and partial dentures, we provide many other services, such as repairs of broken dentures, relines for loose dentures, soft cushion liners for sore dentures and proper denture cleanings. Precision dentures which use the latest advancements in techniques and materials are also available.
